Curriculum and Activities
- What kind of curriculum do you follow?
We use a child-interest play-based curriculum that allows children to explore their unique interests while introducing them to new ideas and activities through games, art, science projects, and math manipulatives.

Yes! On Tuesdays, Liana from the City of Somerville joins us for story time and leads the children in a craft or science activity.
Daily Schedule
+ What does a typical day at Careview Family Daycare look like?
Our daily schedule is structured to provide a balance of play, learning, meals, and rest. Here’s a typical day:
8:00-9:00 am: Arrivals, free play
9:00-10:00 am: Breakfast, clean-up, diaper changes/bathroom
10:00-10:30 am: Arts and crafts
10:30-11:00 am: Outdoor play and gross motor games
11:00-11:30 am: Math manipulatives, blocks, Legos
11:30 am-12:00 pm: Lunch
12:30-1:00 pm: Handwashing, story time
1:00-3:00 pm: Nap time
3:00-3:30 pm: Diaper changes/bathroom, snack time
3:30-5:00 pm: Outdoor play at the playground

We provide care for children aged 3 months old through elementary school age (after-school care).

To enroll, schedule a tour, complete the application form, and submit the required health and immunization records. Feel free to contact us for more details.
