Terms and Conditions
Careview Family Daycare
Welcome to Careview Family Daycare! By enrolling your child in our daycare and using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully as they outline your responsibilities and rights, as well as those of Careview Family Daycare (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
1. Enrollment and Admission
a. Eligibility
- Children must meet the age and health requirements outlined during the registration process.
- Parents/Guardians must provide all necessary documentation, including but not limited to:
- Completed enrollment forms
- Immunization records
- Emergency contact information
b. Acceptance
- Enrollment is subject to availability and is confirmed upon receipt of all required documentation and payment of any applicable fees.
2. Fees and Payment
a. Tuition and Fees
- Tuition and other fees are outlined in the enrollment package.
- Payment must be made on the schedule agreed upon during enrollment.
b. Late Payment
- Payments not received by the due date may incur a late fee as outlined in the fee schedule.
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of services.
c. Refund Policy
- Refunds, if applicable, are governed by our refund policy, which will be provided upon request.
3. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
a. Drop-Off and Pick-Up
- Children must be dropped off and picked up within the scheduled hours of operation.
- Late pick-ups may incur additional fees.
b. Health and Safety
- Parents/Guardians must notify us of any changes to their child’s health or emergency contact information.
- Children showing signs of illness must be kept at home and may only return with a doctor’s note if requested.
c. Personal Items
- Parents/Guardians are responsible for labeling their child’s belongings. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
4. Daycare Rules and Policies
a. Behavioral Expectations
- Children are expected to follow daycare rules and treat staff and other children with respect.
- Repeated disruptive or harmful behavior may result in removal from the daycare.
b. Food and Allergies
- Parents/Guardians must inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies.
- We make reasonable accommodations for allergies but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
c. Activities
- We offer various activities, including outdoor play and educational programs. Parents/Guardians must provide consent for their child’s participation in certain activities, such as field trips.
5. Termination of Services
a. By Careview Family Daycare
- We reserve the right to terminate services with notice for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Non-payment of fees
- Repeated violations of policies
- Safety concerns
b. By Parent/Guardian
- Parents/Guardians may terminate services with written notice as outlined in the enrollment agreement.
6. Liability Disclaimer
- Careview Family Daycare is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that occur on our premises, except where such incidents result from gross negligence on our part.
- Parents/Guardians are responsible for maintaining their own insurance coverage.
7. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to parents/guardians and posted on our premises or website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Excused Absences
- Illness: A doctor’s/parent note of reason for absence is required for your student’s attendance file.
- Medical appointments or treatments: Will require a doctor’s note for the student’s attendance file.
- Religious holidays: A parent note is required for the student’s attendance file
- Death: A parent note is required for the student’s attendance file.
- Personal or family emergency: A parent note is required for the student’s attendance file.
Unexcused Absences
- Family vacations.
- Non-Medical appointments.
- Babysitting.
- Absence for any other reason that does not meet the criteria of an excused absence.
- A student who is absent from school without notice.
Early Release
Parents are requested to schedule appointments after 3:15 p.m. to avoid the need for an early dismissal. If it becomes necessary for the student to be released from school for a doctor/dental appointment or other unavoidable emergencies, the following procedure should be followed:
- Parent/Guardian will need to send a handwritten note to school (or call the school) that states the student’s first and last name, date and time of release, and the reason for the early dismissal. The student is to bring this note to the office before school begins.
- All students must be signed out by a parent/guardian (or someone designated by the parent/guardian on the emergency card) in the office before leaving the building.
- The written note will be kept in the students attendance file.
Tardiness
- Three tardies is equal to 1 unexcused absence
- Three unexcused absences due to tardiness will result in a 7:00 am detention on the following school day.
- If tardiness continues suspension from school will be at the discretion of the administration.
Student’s Responsibilities
Administrator’s Responsibilities
- To review the attendance of students and to contact parent/guardian when a student has excessive absences.
- To take appropriate steps, to insure that students attend school in a timely manner on a regular basis.
- 5 (five) absences: Parents will be notified of days absent and reminded of the need for regular attendance by letter or telephone.
- 10 (ten) absences: A mandatory meeting with parents and principals will be held to develop an intervention plan regarding attendance. The intervention plan will be pro-active and problem solving in nature.
- 18 (eighteen) absences could result in retention (4.5 per quarter).
